LINDEN – Candidates in Linden’s municipal races had filed their Fair Campaign Practices Act reports on time, according to records in the Marengo County Probate Judge’s Office.
Incumbent Mayor Pat Vice filed on Aug. 16 a waiver form stating that he had not met reporting thresholds, as did opponent B.R. Dunn, also filing on Aug. 16.
Mayoral candidate Kathryn B. Friday filed her reports on Aug. 18, reporting expenses of $202.63 and contributions of $210.
According to her reports, her campaign received $130 from her personal funds and $80 in “cash.” No contributor was named.
Her lone itemized expense was paid to The Democrat-Reporter.
Council candidates Dennis Breckenridge, Alvin E. “Butch” King, Kim Tony Howard, Neal Jackson and Richard Ivan Allday all filed the required reports.
Thomaston candidates had also all filed, as had Sweet Water candidates, who ran unopposed.
