Political sign destruction juvenile

Dear Editor:
I am writing to express my frustration and to bring to the attention of your readers a disconcerting series of events.
Over the last few weeks, I have displayed in my yard posters for the candidate I am supporting in the mayoral campaign. A couple of weeks ago, the two posters I had set up in my yard were mutilated. I replaced them, but that set was stolen. I replaced the posters a third time, and those, also, were stolen.
I spoke to the candidate about this. This is truly unfortunate.
I hope that these events are merely juvenile mischief rather than something more sinister.
Sincerely,
Norma M. Taylor

Dear Editor:
I want to thank you for The Demopolis Times newspapers you to U.S. Jones Elementary School. My students have used those papers to search for nouns and verbs, to graph the weather, to write their own ads, and for numerous art projects.
They also love it when their picture is in the paper, or when they find one of a friend.
I know you must have sponsors who donate money to help with project, so please thank them also.
Sincerely,
Anita McKinstry
