John H. Jones, 74, of Baton Rouge, LA died Tuesday, July 20, 2004 at the Baton Rouge Medical Center, Baton Rouge, LA. Funeral services were held Monday, July 26, 2004 from the McKowen Missionary Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, LA with the Rev. Gerald A. Robinson officiating. Burial followed in the Southern Memorial Gardens with the Desselle Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived his wife of 48 years, Pearl J. Jones, by two sisters, Mrs. Fannie M. Haskins and Ms. Christine Dawson of Demopolis, AL, two brothers, Mr. Cleveland (Sadie) Jones of Savannah, GA Eugene (Mary) Dawson, Patterson, NJ, an aunt, Mrs. Harriett George, Demopolis, AL In-laws, Robert (Carrie) Mosby, Anniston, AL, Mrs. Carolyn J. Young, Eutaw, AL, Mrs. Gwen L. Johnson, Atlanta, GA, Miss Burnquetta M. Johnson, Demopolis, AL, Mr. Joseph (Denise) Johnson, Marietta, GA, Mrs. Hardenia J. Childrey, Montgomery, AL and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Janice Louise Dedeck, 69, Popler Bluff, MO died Wednesday, July 28 2004 at her residence in Pine Bluff, MO. Mrs. Dedeck was born Nov. 13, 1934 in Evansville, Ind. to the late Carl Emerson and Virginia Frances (Madden) Edwards. She was of the Protestant faith, and was a retires movie theater manager.
She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Ann Nunnery and Karen Lynn White, both of St. Louis, MO. And Kimberly Jane Bieller, of Poplar Bluff, MO; four sons, Charles Anthony Farris, of Collinsville, Ill, Michael Emerson Farris and Kenneth Daniel Dedeck, both of St. Louis, MO and David Robert Dedeck, of Poplar Bluff, MO; two sisters, Carolyn Joyce Edwards and Judy Ann Edwards, Both of Demopolis; one brother, Jerry Edwards of Demopolis, 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home in Demopolis. Funeral services will be Monday, August 2, 2004 at Kidd Robbins Chapel with The Rev. Mickey Green officiating. Interment will follow in Demopolis Memorial Gardens in Demopolis. Kidd Robbing Funeral directors directing.

Donald L. Nicholson, 55, of Cullman, formally of Carbon Hill died Friday, July 23, 2004 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2004 at the Kilgore – Green Chapel with burial in Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Fayette County. The Rev. Dudley Brock officiated and Kilgore-Green Funeral Home in Jasper directed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Willie Mae Nicholson and four brothers, Billy Joe, Bobby Joe, Wayne and Gary Nicholson.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia W. Nicholson, of Cullman, son Paul M. (Jessica) Nicholson of Cullman, daughter, Vickie L. Nicholson of Cullman, and son Darren Nicholson; granddaughter, Heather L. Kitchens of Cullman; brothers, James F. (Annette) Nicholson OF Adamsville, Charles R. Nicholson of Huntsville, Harry E. (Molly) Nicholson of Demopolis, and Jimmy (Glenda) Nicholson of Inman, SC. Pall bearers were Toby Kitchens, Wayne Nicholson, Jr.,
James Chavis, Josh Nicholson, Tommy Tidwell, and Rich Jesse. Honorary pallbearers were Danny Nicholas, Jerry Gilbreath, Dr.
Chris LaGanke, Dr. James Lee, Dr. Scott Warner, Dr. Charles Lovelady and the CRMC Staff.
