Artimese S. Harris McGill, 95, Linden died Tuesday, June 15, 2004 at the Marengo Nursing Home, Linden. Funeral services were held Thursday, June 17, 2004 at 2 p.m. at the O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden. The Revs. Billy Harris and David Grayson officiated and O’Bryant Chapel directed. Interment followed in the County

Line Baptist Church Cemetery in Arlington. She is survived by two daughters, Linda (Wayne) Lewis of Linden and Nell (Hal) Gay of College Station, Texas; two brothers, Grant Smyly of Birmingham and Olsen Smyly of Grand Bay; two sisters, Myrtle Townsend of Arlington and LaBerta Hansen of Ogden, Utah; 8 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
