9&10-year olds
Omni Sports Red Sox 16
Dowdle Gas Dodgers 10
Kole Thrasher went 4-for-4 with two doubles to give the Omni Sports Red Sox a 16-10 win over the Dowdle Gas Dodgers. Along with Thrasher was Tyler Charleston going 2-for-4 with a single and a triple. Mitch McPherson went 2-for-3 with two singles, while Cody Easterling collected a home run. Jarvus Lawson went 1-for-3 with a double as well.
For the Dodgers it was Louis Studeman leading the way going 3-for-3 with a home run of his own and a double. Devin Burrell and Porter Rainer followed, as Burrell went 1-for-3 with a double and Rainer went 1-for-2 with a single. Jack Kerby went 1-1 with a single.
11&12-year olds
Mason&Gardner Mets 7
Commercial bank Cubs 7
The Commercial Bank Cubs made a glorious comeback Monday night in the sixth inning of their game with the Mason&Gardner Mets, as Bill Holeman hit a sacrifice fly to deep center field to score Demarkus James for the tying run, but the Cubs would leave two runners stranded in the last inning and have to settle with a 7-7 tie.
The Mets collected four hits, as Walker McNeill, Ben Pettus, Cameron Barger and B.J. Webb each had one hit apiece. For the Cubs it was Matthew Barger leading the way with two singles, while James, Holeman and Jordan Stone each had a hit.
