Virgie Luker Morning

Virgie Luker Morning, 96, died Friday, Oct. 24, 2003, at Doctors Hospital in Columbus, Miss.
Graveside services were held Sunday, October 26, 2003, at the Thomaston Cemetery with Rev. Wally Rezendes officiating and under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home in Linden.
She was a resident of Marengo County until 1997 when she moved to Smiths Station, where she lived until her death.
Mrs. Morning was the daughter of the late Joe and Ada Jane Luker, was born April 25, 1907, in Magnolia.
She was a Christian who loved the Lord, and her family and loved ones celebrate her homecoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey E. Moring Sr.; her son, Ivan Moring and wife Mittie; and infant son, Clyde; and an infant daughter.
She is survived by sons Aubrey E. Moring Jr. from Lewiston, Idaho and Eric Moring (Merle) of Seattle, Wa.; daughters, Lorene Coker (Bill) of Smiths Station, Mollie Wilkerson (Kenneth, deceased) of Camden, Erma Gunter (James) of Tuscaloosa, Carol Allman (Henry) of Winona, Miss., Paulette Zeigler (David) of Smiths Station, and Glenna Drinkard (Wade) of Linden; 24 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
