Barbara Nell Lee, 56, of Gallion, died Monday, September 2, 2002, at Northport Medical Center-DCH.

Services were held Thursday, September 5, 2002, at Emmanuel Baptist Church with Rev. Don Smith and Rev. Hershel Owen officiating.

Burial was held in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of the Skelton Funeral Home of Reform.

Mrs. Lee was born July 22, 1946 in Pickens County. She was a member of Rangeland Baptist Church and was employed as an office manager for Liberty National Life Insurance Company.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Claude and Grace Skelton and Robert and Dora Pritchett; and a brother, Richard Pritchett.

She is survived by her husband, Fred Lancaster Lee of Demopolis; three daughters, Donna Marie Hall (Kirk) of Demopolis, Mary Sheree Black (Daniel) of Cottondale and Renea Lee LaGrone (Robert) of Gordo; two brothers, Donald Pritchett and Jimmy Pritchett, both of Gordo; her parents, George Hubert and Mary Lois Pritchett of Gordo; two grandchildren, Allison Paige Hall and Corie Danielle Hall.

Pallbearers were Richard Pritchett, Kenneth Pritchett, Robert Pritchett, Terry Lee, Doug Lee and Anthony Pritchett.

Honorary pallbearers were employees of Liberty National Life, Northport Medical Center staff, Dr. Bert Nabors and the Neuro Oncology staff of UAB and Dr. James Markert.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent in her name to the American Brain Tumor Association and/or Joe Lee Griffin, Hope Lodge.
