Linda Boyd Stuart, 61, of Linden, died Sunday, June 2, 2002, at her home.

Services were held Tuesday, June 4, 2002, at Linden Presbyterian Church with Rev. Stan Bamberg and Rev. David McKay officiating.

Burial was held at Linden Memorial Park under the direction of O’Bryant Chapel Funeral Home.

Ms. Stuart was born February 25, 1941 in York, Ala. She was employed as a secretary and was member of the Linden Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her mother, Hattie Mary Holliman of Linden; two daughters, Amy "Lee" Stuart Duke of Thomasville and Amanda Stuart of Livingston; a son, Thomas "Tommy" Clifton Stuart Jr.; a brother, Cephus Robert "Bob" Holliman Jr. of Alpharetta, Ga.; two grandchildren, Virginia Nealy Duke and Paxton Duke of Thomasville; a nephew, Christian Holliman of Deerfield, Ill.; and a niece, Alicia Holliman of Deerfield, Ill.

Pallbearers were Chuck Corbin, Steve Springer, Hank Stuart, Allen Tartt, Gaines Vick and Melvin Nichols.

The honorary pallbearers were Ms. Stuart’s classmates.
