Stanford L. Adams of Dixons Mills was convicted Friday of manslaughter by a Marengo County jury in the death of Danny Martin.

Adams was arrested and charged with murder on May 27, 2001. The incident took place at Adams’ mobile home.

He will be sentenced on August 5.
