Lydia Anita Barr Walker, 77, of Demopolis, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at the Woodhaven Manor Nursing Home.
Services were held Saturday, April 20, 2002, at Westside Baptist Church in Demopolis with Rev. Richard Scott officiating.
Burial was held at Geneva Presbyterian Church in Sweet Water.
Mrs. Walker was a seamstress and a long time member of Westside Baptist Church. She was also a long time charity worker with The Bargain Box in Demopolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rubin Ellis Walker.
She is survived by two sons, Cecil Wayne Tucker of Demopolis and Kenneth Mack Tucker of Jefferson; two daughters, Sandra Faye Stone of Thomasville, Ga., and Shirley A. Tucker of Demopolis; two brothers, Alfred Barr of Sweet Water and Samuel Barr of Arizona; a sister, Jacqueline Wilson of Jacksonville, Fla., three granddaughters, Tina Cauley of Thomasville, Ga., Samara Everett of Jefferson and Jessica Squires of Jefferson; two grandsons, Ray Pearce of Albany, Ga. and Kenneth Tucker Jr. of Tuscaloosa; a great-grandson, Keith Cauley of Thomasville, Ga.; three great-granddaughters, Ashley Cauley of Thomasville, Ga., and Kasey Pearce and Kellie Pearce, both of Albany, Ga.; and a special family friend, James Foster of Demopolis.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Mack Tucker Jr., Jack Everett, Ray Pearce, Paul Foster, Alfred Barr and Phillip Barr.
