Betty Jean Hill

Betty Jean Hill, 65, of Demopolis, died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Flowers Memorial Hospital in Dothan.
Services were held Sunday, April 14, 2002, at Fairhaven Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Atkins officiating.
Burial was held at Demopolis Memorial Gardens under the direction of Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Hill was a native of Georgia and lived in Demopolis for a number of years. She worked for Vanity Fair and was a member of Fairhaven Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Essie Murkerson, and four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Joe D. Hill of Demopolis; a daughter, Laurie H. (Paul) Willingham of Demopolis; a sister, Martha M. Johnson of Blakely, Ga.; three grandchildren, Brandon K. Smith, Jacob A. Willingham, and Emily K. Willingham, all of Demopolis.
Pallbearers were Tommy Spidle, Bill Griffin, Rondall Vann, Joe Stokes, Gwinn Etheredge and Jim Sigler.
