Tigers look to future for better baseball

Demopolis High School has a great season going, even if its 0-4 record doesn’t show it.
The Tigers took on St. Paul in Mobile recently and also played in the Jackson Tournament where they took on last year’s 4A Area baseball champs, Hillcrest, but so far the squad has not brought home a win.
To help his team on the road to winning, Moody said he tried a new coaching technique.
All players reviewed their hitting style from the video, and Moody said he was able to see some positive results.
The morale and spirit of the team is another thing Moody said he was encouraged by.
Moody encouraged his team to "… Not look at the losses. You have to look at the lessons learned from the losses."
The Tigers were to play two games on Saturday on the Tiger home field, but the games were rained out.
The team traveled to Central of Tuscaloosa on Monday.
