Dorothy T. Ashworth, 90, of Moundville, died Tuesday, February 19, 2002, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Services were held Friday, February 23, 2002 at the Greensboro Baptist Church with Rev. Desmond McGuire officiating.

Burial was held at Oakwood Cemetery under the direction of Kidd Robbins Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Ashworth was born in McKinney, Kentucky and lived in Greensboro for many years. She was a member of the Greensboro Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman L. Ashworth.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ashworth of Greensboro; a son. James N. Ashworth of Mobile; two sisters, Mrs. Coats Dismukes of Greensboro and Mrs. Fred Herndon of Eutaw; a brother-in-law, Jackie Ashworth of Mount View, Arkansas; five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Deacons of Greensboro Baptist Church.
